In this age of plastic-sealed goods, I find the charm of old tins to be appealing. With tin-snips and a lot of elbow grease, I cut them into different shapes and hammer them together on a wooden base to create a metal quilt of sorts. (The cutting is quite a difficult job; the hammering is more therapeutic!)
